The Lady Gaels kept their winning streak intact with a big win over league rival Hampshire. Hampshire, traditionally one of the stronger teams in the Eastern Division, entered the day with a perfect 3-0 record, but left with their first loss of the season after a great effort by the home team. The Lady Gaels continued their style of pack running, and their top five was dominant once again, capturing five of the top six spots overall. Evelyn Powell was once again the team's top runner, chasing Hampshire's star runner Kathryn Marvel right from the opening gun, and running under 19:00 for the first time. Rose, Laura J, and Marissa ran together throughout the race, and Vickie continues to close the gap on the top four, finishing right behind them. Bridgette and Laura M rounded out the team scoring. Special congrats to Rose for finishing the race despite struggling with all kinds of injuries and pain, and to Laura J, who displayed great team spirit by encouraging Rose throughout the race. The Lady Gaels' record is now 5-0 (3-0 in eastern division).
